Community Presbyterian Church Preschool of Ventura.
CPC Preschool was recognized by BCVC at the August 2026 Ventura County Board of Supervisors Meeting for the exceptional support they provide for breastfeeding and breastfeeding families as a childcare provider. Having a supportive childcare provider helps families meet their breastfeeding goals.
"CPC Preschool has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to supporting
breastfeeding families through its welcoming environment, family-centered approach,
and dedication to meeting the needs of parents and infants. Their staff warmly
welcomes mothers who wish to breastfeed onsite, ensuring they have a comfortable
and supportive place to nurse their child. They work closely with parents to provide
accommodations for individualized feeding schedules, recognizing that every baby and
every family’s needs are unique.
Most importantly, their staff consistently provides positive encouragement and
reinforcement for breastfeeding, helping parents feel confident and supported. For many
parents who are returning to work or placing a child in care for the first time, that kind of
encouragement can make all the difference in continuing their breastfeeding journey.

The Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County's vision is to see that EVERY FAMILY IS SUPPORTED TO BREASTFEED. We have created breast/chestfeeding safe space placecards for your local business or health office as a way of promoting breast/chestfeeding and letting your clients know they are in a supportive and safe place with their child. Please send an email to contact@breastfeedventura.org if you would like to receive a placecard for your business, health office, or university.
