FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  1. Can I register for this course through The Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County? NO, all registrations are handled directly through the Healthy Children Project Center for Breastfeeding. Registration and all questions regarding the course are handled through them via their website at www.healthychildren.cc.
  2. Do I have to attend all 5 days to receive credit? YES, you must attend all 5 days to receive credit and take the CLC exam.
  3. Will there be a space available on site if I need to use a breast pump? The Ventura County WIC office is located just downstairs and has a comfortable pumping room available.
  4. Will there be lunch or snacks provided? No, lunch and snacks are on your own. For your convienance, we will provide a list of nearby restaurants or you may bring your own lunch.
  5. Are there pre-requisites to the CLC course? No, there are none, however the Healthy Children Project has recommended reading to prepare you and help you during the course. For more information visit their website at www.healthychildren.cc.
  6. Are there any public scholarships available this year as in previous years? No, there are no public scholarships being offered this year.
  7. What if my work will be paying for the program fees? All registration is done through the Healthy Children Project. Please refer to their website: www.healthychildren.cc. Registration can be done online, mailed in or by phone.
